New Work: Beverage and Beer Festival Launches, and Brand Refreshes
We’ve worked with some great clients in the first half of 2023. We don’t have space to feature all of the projects, but here’s a peek at five projects that are as diverse as the businesses they represent.
Client: Barnside Brewing Co.
Project: New beverage product packaging and launch
This summer, Barnside Brewing, is jumping into the growing market for “no-alcohol” beverages with its Road Pop Sparkling Hop Water. It has all of the hop aroma and flavour craft beer drinkers crave, plus hints of grapefruit and citrus, with zero calories, alcohol, or gluten. Road Pop won “Outstanding New Product” at “From the Ground Up”, a BC industry tradeshow that connects new and innovative food and beverage brands with buyers, distributors, brokers, chefs, and other food industry supporters.
Indalma’s challenge was to design a new look for this product outside of the usual Barnside brand identity. The new packaging has a cool, go-anywhere West Coast vibe, with a nod to the golden fields where the brand was born.
Client: Barnside Brewing Co.
Project: Marketing materials for music and beer festival
Not one to rest on their laurels, Barnside also decided to launch its first-ever Harvest Festival, featuring three days of music, markets, food and farm-fresh beer this September at Patterson Park in Ladner, BC. Our team got involved, making sure the festival’s wordmark and promotional materials aligned with the Barnside brand.
Client: Teragon Developments & Construction
Project: Refresh of homebuilder brand’s visual identity
We’ve had the pleasure of working with many local homebuilders over the years – all of them with a unique voice, look and offer. For this project, we refreshed the visual identity of luxury homebuilder, Teragon, to more accurately reflect the attributes of their upscale brand, then oversaw the implementation of the new colours, font and logo throughout their website, and used them to design new signage, vehicle graphics, and apparel.
Client: Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust
Project: Brand voice refresh and communications strategy
DFWT is a non-profit organization that was started in 1993 by a group of local farmers and conservationists who were concerned about increasing pressures on farmland and wildlife habitat. Their programs, research, and cost-sharing initiatives promote sustainable agriculture, along with the creation of wildlife habitat on farms for pollinators, species-at-risk, and other wildlife.
The work they do in partnership with farmers has made them increasingly attractive to agencies looking for solutions to local food security, disappearing wildlife habitat, and climate change. With increased funding support and an expansion of their programs and services, DFWT recognized that they needed to update their messaging and communications strategy, and they approached Indalma for help.
One of our strategies was to create a six-month social media plan and content that highlights what DFWT does and why their work is so important – and take that message to a wider audience.
Client: Port of Vancouver
Project: Magnetic activity board
This was a fun project we designed for the Port that shows visitors to their exhibit how Canada connects to the rest of the world through its exports and imports. The interactive board is en route to Toronto to be used at events there.
