After more than 20 years in the industry, Angela knows how to take a meeting and manage a project. She’s not just a design pro, she’s our chief marketing strategist and brand developer, diving one level deeper with her questions to make sure that we’re creating the best possible solutions for our clients. Angela has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for helping people grow their business – she fearlessly checks in with clients at the end of projects to find out if our work has made a difference.
My goal is to deliver more than our clients expect, so I dig deep, look at all the angles, and work towards a unique, creative solution.
Under Rachel’s detail-oriented eye, print projects achieve the perfect balance of clean, structured design and playful illustration. She’s one of our social media experts, helping to form strategy across platforms and provide meaningful analysis of the results. Rachel embodies our ethic of extreme customer care, making sure that every aspect of a project is handled for our clients, and that they aren’t just given a solution, they’re given the right solution.
Before I begin to design, I make sure that I have a solid understanding of the client’s goals, so that the work I create will have meaning for their target audience and resonate with them for a long time.
Sheri is a talented illustrator, print designer, and front-end website designer. Her background in sociology informs her understanding of human behaviour, helping Sheri to design online customer experiences and print pieces that offer meaning and connection. A confident communicator and creative collaborator, Sheri is always looking for that extra bit of inspiration that will elevate a piece.
At its heart, marketing communication is storytelling. My job is to figure out what the story is, and how to tell it in a way that makes people act.
Bev is our brand storyteller, giving our clients the words they need to communicate their messages online and in print. With more than 20 years writing and marketing experience, our self-admitted “word nerd” gets to the essence of what a client needs to say, in ways that are targeted and strategic.
It’s important to have strong processes in place – accurate scheduling, project tracking and budgeting, and regular client communication – so that we deliver on the business side of our creative projects, on time and on budget.
Kim is our administrative engine who keeps things running on the back end: invoicing, budgeting, taking care of loose ends, and continually looking for ways to improve our processes. She’s a super-organized dynamo who steps in where needed, to help with everything from accounting to project support.
For over ten years, I’ve been privileged to work on different projects with Indalma Creative and can highly recommend Angela and her team. It is a delight to work with Angela and her team to create logos for two organizations. We’ve worked together to create identities for two organizations. The process is centred around good questions – what is the organization about and just how does it benefit clients? How can the logo explain that at a glance? It’s old school team work around the studio’s work table, sketching, looking at fonts and colour samples, figuring out how to best convey the message. It leads to a concise, easy-to-use, professional presentation of the logos in a package with instructions and all the latest electronic formats. I get a lot of positive feedback on the logo from my clients and the logos standout on the page or screen.

I have worked with her for roughly four years, primarily on complex health care educational material, infographics, brochures, posters and digital toolkits.
I can come to her with very challenging technical concepts that need to be translated visually and she always finds a way to clarify them in a graceful, modern way that improves understanding. Angela does not just do design, she does strategic design thinking with her clients. Indalma also grasps the production needs of large organizations and will iterate until it is just right. When Barnside Brewing started to ramp up towards our launch, it was important for us to find a true creative partner. We had a very strong sense of our brand and where we wanted to go, but we wanted a team that could not only execute our vision – but also enhance our ideas with nuanced direction. We wanted to be hands-on, but in a collaborative sense. Angela and her team at Indalma gave us that and more. They have a wide range of skills across design, messaging, brand establishment – all areas where we were able to work together. We couldn’t be happier with the transformation of our brand, all in the hands of the Indalma Creative team. Our logo, website, and marketing materials had not been updated in a very long time. The team really listened to what we were looking for across the board – from the feel of our marketing materials, to the design of our logo, to the message we wanted to send on our website. They stayed on track both in terms of time and budget, with the second being really important for a not-for-profit. The end result is beyond anything I could have imagined – and the information in our website is now complete, and gives our users a very clear understanding of what we do, and our expectations of the users of our program.
